Personal Training Terms & Conditions 

1. Payment Policy 

  • Payment must be made in advance by bank transfer or Stripe before training sessions, packages, or online programmes begin. 

  • No training will take place until full payment has been received. 

  • Single sessions, blocks, packages, and online/hybrid programmes must be paid for at least 24 hours before the first session. 

  • Online/hybrid programmes are billed monthly in advance and will auto-renew unless cancelled by the Client with 7 days’ notice prior to renewal. 

 

2. Packages, Sessions, and Expiry 

  • Single sessions expire 1 week from the date of purchase. 

  • 4-session blocks expire 2 months from the date of purchase. 

  • 8-session blocks expire 3 months from the date of purchase. 

  • Unused sessions after the expiry date will be forfeited and are non-refundable. 

  • A discount will be applied on the first block booking only; thereafter, standard rates apply. 

 

3. Refund Policy 

  • Refunds are only permitted if the package or session is cancelled before the first session has taken place. 

  • Once a session or package has started, no refunds will be issued. 

 

4. Cancellations & No-Shows 

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session. 

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full. 

  • If the Client does not show up and does not cancel, the session will be counted as used and charged in full. 

  • Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled without charge. 

 

5. Client Holidays 

  • Day-to-day cancellations during holidays remain subject to the 24-hour cancellation policy. 

  • For 1–2 week holidays, the Client does not need to notify the Trainer daily, but must give advance notice. 

  • Packages will continue to have an expiry date unless advance notice of the Client’s holiday is provided. 

 

6. Trainer Holidays & Public Holidays 

  • The Trainer will give the Client at least 2 weeks’ notice of any holiday. 

  • Clients may reschedule sessions around this period. 

  • Packages may be paused and expiry dates extended to accommodate Trainer holidays. 

  • The Trainer does not work on UK Public Holidays. Sessions that fall on these dates may be rescheduled. 

 

7. Client Sickness 

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice due to sickness will be charged in full. 

  • Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled. 

  • For ongoing illness, packages may be paused if reasonable notice is given. 

  • Clients must not attend training if suffering from contagious illnesses (including but not limited to flu, COVID-19, or stomach bugs). 

  • If the Client attends visibly unwell, the Trainer reserves the right to end the session immediately, which will be charged in full. 

 

8. Trainer Sickness 

  • If the Trainer is unwell, the Client may reschedule sessions or have package expiry dates extended. 

  • If the Trainer is unwell long-term, billing will be paused. 

  • Online programmes will not normally be paused due to Trainer illness, except in the case of a medical issue lasting over 2 weeks, in which case they may be paused. 

 

9. Liability 

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to undertake exercise. 

  • The Client must disclose any relevant medical conditions before training begins. 

  • The Trainer will not be liable for any injury, illness, or accident unless caused by negligence.
